There are several types of samples, that are used depending on customer's needs and his oral cavity condition.
Template based on mucous reliance (Implant Guide - M) is used in complete teeth loss, and with presence of long, cut-in or terminal defects. The technology allows operations with minimal injuries to carry out: a minimum of muco-periosteal flap cut for gingival margin formation or without any cuts at all.
Implantologists prefer template based on teeth reliance (Implant Guide - T) with cut-in defects of one or two teeth.
If cut-in defects of more than two teeth or terminal defects are found out, then definitely a template based on bone reliance (Implant Guide - V) must be used. Reliance on bone is also needed in a pointed or narrow bone ridge and during operations, when bone plastic is carried out alongside with implantation. Operations with such indications are highly traumatic and have an extensive operational area. Implantologists often face with a problem of sample in limited area introduction.
There are also mixed templates, in particular, templates, based on, bone and teeth (Implant Guide - BT) and templates based on mucosa and teeth (Implant Guide - MT).
Implant Guide – ВT is used in a narrow, sharp bone crest, terminal defects and defects of more than two teeth. Also, this workpiece is required for implantation alongside with bone plastic carrying out to reduce the detachment of periosteum. Due to a template based on teeth and bone, the size of operational area is reducing.
Implant Guide – МT has the widest scope among all templates. However, there are also some limitations - MT template template can't be used if teeth are placed very close to each other. In such cases, another type of sample is selected.
